2 web servers and 1 application server. The 2 web servers are setup as dominant, dominant to work cooperatively to ensure the availability of web content even during a hardware or software failure. Should one web server crash or fail the second web server will pick up the entire load.

The 2 application servers are setup as dominant and a slave so should the dominant application server fail, the slave server will go online to handle the workload until the dominant node can be repaired. This scenario works perfect if you are running SQL 2000, Real Audio/Video, heavy CGI scripts, MS Exchange, or MS BackOffice on the application servers.
