E-mail (SPAM) Filter This service is free!  You can setup e-mail (SPAM) filters on our e-mail server using procmail.  To use procmail, you need to insert this line into the .qmail file for your account: | preline /usr/bin/procmail Then, you will need to edit the .procmailrc file for your account to configure procmail to act appropriately.  We suggest this simple example to start with that will throw e-mails with certain keywords in the Subject and From lines into the Trash folder.  Listed below is our favorite recipes for procmail: DEFAULT=$HOME/Maildir/ TRASH=$HOME/Maildir/.Trash/ # Put these in Trash :0 * ^Subject.*(\%) * ^Subject.*(Debt|Loan|Mortgate|Refinance) ${TRASH} :0 * ^Subject.*(Refinance|Mortgage) * ^Subject.*(Cash|Credit|Income|Lender|Loan)|\ ^Subject.*(Mortgage|Preapprove|Rates) ${TRASH} :0 * ^Subject.*(Debt) * ^Subject.*(Cash|Consolidation|Eliminate|Out.*of) ${TRASH} :0 * ^Subject.*(Grow|Increase|Promote) * ^Subject.*(Business|Revenue|Sale) ${TRASH} :0 * ^Subject.*(Inkjet|Laser|Printer) * ^Subject.*(Cartridge|Toner) ${TRASH} :0D * ^Subject:.*([ ]|<|\[)ADV([ ]|>|:|\]|$) ${TRASH} # Otherwise, put in Inbox :0 ${DEFAULT} Note the definition of DEFAULT and TRASH.  We also suggest that you monitor your e-mail account and see what other kinds of SPAM that you are receiving and creative add keywords to the above list, following the same template.
